Which program is right for my Player?

U6-U8 Academy

Your player is under 8 years old with or without soccer experience.  Our coaches build focus on fun and fundamentals.

By the time your player is ready for U10 play, they can make a choice to try out for competitive or stick with recreational soccer.

Recreational

Your player likes soccer and wants to play with their friends. Grab a group of buddies and sign up for our seasonal recreational programs.  We encourage parents to participate by becoming a Coach or Team Manager.

Competitive

Your player LOVES soccer and is willing to commit to year-round play.  At Cap Valley FC our competitive players play both fall and spring with additional tournaments in both seasons. Parents can expect some travel going further from Sacramento as players age and level up in competition.  Competitive tryouts happen every May.

Our recreational soccer program is the perfect way for players of all skill levels to enjoy the beautiful game and stay active during the season.

Open to boys and girls U10-U19, the program offers a fun and inclusive environment for players to learn and play. Participants will have the opportunity to develop their technical abilities, teamwork, and sportsmanship, while making new friends and creating lifelong memories. 

Coaches will guide players through a range of drills, exercises, and games, ensuring that each participant has the opportunity to grow their skills and confidence at their own pace.

Our competitive soccer program is designed for players who are passionate about the game and are committed to taking their skills to the next level.

Our program provides a challenging and rewarding environment for players to develop their technical abilities, tactical knowledge, and physical fitness, under the guidance of our experienced coaches.

We compete at the highest levels of local and regional competition, and our focus on teamwork, discipline, and a positive mindset helps our players to perform at their best.

The CVFC competitive program is open to boys and girls aged 8-18 years old who are ready to commit to the demands of competitive play, and who have a desire to excel in the sport.
