2026 Fall Recreational Soccer
About the Program
Our Recreational (Rec) Soccer Program offers a fun, inclusive, and community-focused environment for players of all skill levels, ages U10–U19. The focus is on player development, teamwork, and fostering a love for the game through age-appropriate training and local match play.
We offer both boys' and girls' teams. Our volunteer-driven program depends on the support of families, coaches, and community members. We encourage all families in our recreational program to join the Cap Valley Community.

When Do I Get Added to a Team?
Rec Team Formation
Based on your location preference and age group, we will match you to the closest team available. We typically form teams through the second half of May and first half of June. You will know your team assignment by the end of June. If you have questions reach out to info@capvalleyfc.com.
When Will We Practice?
Practice Days/Times
Coaches will request a first and second option for practice days/times, and locations. Once your player is assigned a team you’ll know by late June when practices are, and their locations. We do our best to assign teams based on your preferred practice location area. Teams generally practice 2x a week, either Tuesday/Thursday or Monday/Wednesday. Teams either start at 5 or 6:30, but that can also vary depending on the coach's availability. Practices should always be at the same location.
How Long is the Rec Season?
Season Schedule
The Fall season is comprised of 10 matches over 11-12 weeks. Schedules for the first half of the season, which starts mid August, are released after the seeding tournaments in early August.
8/8/26 - Rec Seeding Tournament
8/15/26 - Cap Valley FC Kick Off Day! (team pictures, games, fun!)
8/22/26 Rec Games Start
What is the Volunteer Requirement?
You have some flexibility on when you complete your six volunteer hours. We will offer opportunities on match days, and also toward the end of the week getting the fields ready for match days. We also have opening day where there will be volunteers needed. Alternatively, you can pay the $60 buy out fee.
Need to Know
