Our U6–U8 Academy develops confident, creative players with strong technical foundations and a genuine love for the game. As players complete this stage, we guide them into the next phase of their soccer journey based on their readiness, interest, and goals.
What Happens After U8?
Players transition into one of two development pathways designed to support continued growth and enjoyment.
1. Recreational / Development League
A fun, structured environment focused on continued learning:
• Emphasis on enjoyment and participation
• Skill development through game play
• Balanced time commitment
• Encourages multi-sport participation
Best for: Players who want to keep improving while maintaining flexibility and fun.
2. Competitive / Club Teams (U9+)
A more structured environment for players ready for increased commitment:
• More frequent training sessions
• Introduction to team tactics and positional play
• League competition and tournaments
• Focus on long-term player development
Best for: Players who are motivated to train more consistently and compete.
For Academy Alumni born between August 1, 2017 and July 31st, 2018 that are interested in competitive tryouts for the 2026/2027 seasons register for Try Outs!
How Placement Decisions Are Made
We use a player-centered approach, considering:

Our focus is on placing each player where they will thrive not rushing early selection.
